Hi - A couple of weeks ago I installed the Dice Ipod integration kit into my new 2008 GS350. The car already has NAV and Sirius factory installed. The install was easy once I got the console pulled out.
The unit is up and running, and there are several problems with it from what I can tell. I know there's a learning curve on it but I've been using it for two weeks and these are still issues:
1) Can't figure out how to change tracks - the Tune/File button does nothing at all when in CD Changer/Ipod mode
2) Onscreen display (see attached) repeats the same information for all detail boxes 1-6. None do anything when selected. This is in folder and file mode.
3) All of my playlists play, however only some of them show up onscreen. In other words if I'm in playlist mode and I move from playlist to playlist, the onscreen display only changes with some of them but others remain displaying the previous playlist information.
4) I see no track information of any kind anywhere.
5) After turning off the engine and turning it back on it "sometimes" resets the iPod to first playlist/track instead of coming on where it left off.
6) The book that comes with it and the version on their website clears up none of this.
7) I sent them email over a week ago about these issues but no response.
8) Today their support web page won't let me log in to use their interactive support option.
Has anybody had similar issues with the Dice iPod interface for Lexus/Toyota? Anybody from Dice monitoring this forum?
Thanks very much,
Greg
