Thinking about getting the LG Dare phone and was wondering if anyone knows of it's compatibility with an '08 GS. Or better yet, is there a page somewhere listing current BT-compatible phone?
Cheers

I have the LG Dare and an 08 GS 350. I was able to get the phone connected via bluetooth and can send/receive calls from it, but I was never able to get my phone book sync'ed to the car. I wound up manually entering all my phone numbers through the touch screen.

Try the following site for phones compatible with 2008 GS350: http://lexusbluetooth.letstalk.com/p...iew=1&model=GS

Are any of you guys that have the LG Dare having any issues with connecting to your Lexus? I see that the Dare isn't listed on Lexus' website as a compatible phone yet. I can connect initially when I first get in the car but if I turn the bluetooth off on the phone and then try and turn it back on and then try and 'connect' again the Dare can't find the HANDS FREE. It says something like the hands free is out of range or is turned off.
I also have a Blackberry Curve from Verizon that I don't have any problems with. But after I can't reconnect with my Dare, I can't connect with my Curve anymore either. Even tried turning the car off and turning it back on again. The only way I can seem to fix this is by deleting both phones and re-registering them, which I obviously don't want to do everytime I want to use the bluetooth. Not sure what could be wrong. I know this is a GS forum but I do have an '06 IS350.
Any Ideas? Thank You.

Could anyone with an LG Dare try this?
1. Have their Dare connected to their Hands Free
2. Turn off their bluetooth on their phone
3. Then turn it back on again and then try and reconnect back to their hands free
Are you able to reconnect or are you getting that 'hands free is out of range or is turned off' message?
I'm just trying to figure out if anyone else is having a similiar issue.
Thank You.

I am having a similar issue.
It worked well for some time but now it tries and fails to connect.
If I find the magic setting I will let you know.
If you find it please let me know.
Thanks for you're time.

i wasn't able to sync the phonebook either.. had to do it the old fashioned way, putting it in manually.
i just tried this. it connects when i get in the car, then i turn the bluetooth off on the Dare, then turn it back on. it doesn't work, but it connects again when i restart the car.
