Default Brake pad help please: I received the new Low Dust pads and I can't get them to fit.

I took off my worn down front pads on my 2006 GS300 and noticed that the new pads I ordered were different. On the front calipers I took off the lower bolt for the caliper and swung it up to reveal the pads. The pads that I received part number 04465-30410 have the hole in them for the side pins to go through them which are not even on my calipers as mine are a simple removal of the lower bolt and swivel up the caliper. I purchased these pads online from the Lexus dealership. I called the parts department and they said these were the newer pads that Lexus is using for low dust and I said thats cool. The only thing is I can't seem to fit these new pads because they are not shaped the same and has the holes for the pins similar to the rear brakes on the GS. Any help would be appreciated.

Your problem is simple, there was no such thing for a gs300, as the gs350 brakes are more robust and different part altogether. GS300 pads were low dusting variety all along.

Based on what EyeKutr said, you should return the pads and get the ones that are specific for your GS300. That should solve your problem. Good luck!
