Default 2007 GS 350 (awd) options

Hello,

I have decided to trade in my 2007 RX 350 (awd) for a 2007 GS 350 (awd). I know I want the car to be black on black but I need your help on what type of other options are available to me and which ones you would recommend. Although I am from Canada the vehicle will be from the US.

Thanks for any help

Chris

nothing worse than posting with no love!!!!

Chris...maybe try going to Lexus.com to get an idea of options. I have a 07 GS 350 AWD. the only options i passed on were the ML, 18in wheels(going 20). Remember if you by chance want to watch a DVD while parked you gotta get the ML setup(or do a bypass/hack)...i wasn't aware of that when i purchased...no big. some members are getting the OEM ipod hook up if you don't like listening to your radio.

good luck....

Thanks for the post ... Do you think the ML is worth the extra money ? I am not a huge audiophile ... but I enjoy a decent stereo system

When buying used, you may not have a choice.
I don't know how many '07 black on black GS's are out there.
There's not a big difference in value of a used GS with or without ML.
According to KBB.com,ML only adds about $350 retail more to the cost of the car.
Get the ML if you can.

ML alone would add about $751 bucks, but it always comes packaged with a ton of other options, Nav, vent seats etcs- like $4700 worth at dealer retail. Check out Edmunds. KB B doesnt really break it down properly.

there are no "stripper GS" with ML.

drgman350, for Canada, your only real options for 07/08 GS350 AWD were "GS with wood steering wheel and Mark Levinson" or without. I believe the US GS350 AWDs allowed the person to pick and choose options (e.g. rain sensing wipers, park assist, backup camera, navigation, etc).

Personally I like my GS the way I have it (Canada-spec with the aforementioned wood steering wheel and ML). I would go with a fully-loaded GS if you can find it.

P.S. Good choice on the colour combo.
