Agreed. I don't have a problem sitting anywhere in the 3GS but I'm 5'11". I really felt bad for a buddy of mine who's 6'5" when we took a 3-hour roadtrip together in my car.

And I really hate how small the opening of the trunk is... I have to maneuver my golf clubs when I put them in and that's kind of ridiculous!

6"5" you can have him sit in the front seat and stick his head out the sunroof

Everyone has an opinion. In my opinion, this is not a very good thread.

I agree. I think it was doomed from the start...a hit-and-run post that included the word "clusterophobic." Really, WTF?

I actually bought the GS300 due to lowered ceiling lines... I don't like feeling like I'm in a bus or anything with 4 ft worth of air over my head. The Infiniti M series had a high roof line, and I hated it.

The ES seemed bulky to me... not that it was ever a consideration ( loaners ),.. .and coming from a SC400,... the GS was the only option.

The GS lines follow that of a CLS,... lower, sleeker, body design.... sexy!!!!

LONG 'N' LOW 'N' WIDE!!! = Head turner!!!

Glad to see the GS did its job and saved you!

p.s. I am 6ft & 167lbs, I'm pretty big and I think the GS is plenty comfortable. It goes back pretty far for legroom as well.

I recently had a coilover set up installed and the tech at the shop said he was amazed at the number of air bags that my GS had. Lexus makes a very safe car. Thank god you walked away from it
