Excellent so they do fit with no modifications!! Excellent!
As for the color, that is the OEM color. I guess you could paint it.

Can't wait to see final pics. This is great news!

What size are your oem wheels, and what size are your aftermarket rims? FYI, the GS450h comes with 18" wheels...I wonder if the F Sport brake kit would fit under oem 18's?

^^ if he had the stock gs300 rims, those are 17"

the newer 3GS has huge brakes compared to the 300, like yourself, I wonder if our oem 18 will clear

OP - Any reason why you went with these sets over the IS-F brakes?

I thought the pictures he posted were the IS-F OEM brake kit (Brembo manufactured for Lexus)? Unless I'm missing something, what do you mean by going with these sets over IS-F brakes???

whlkev:
from what i have heard, the isf does not fit the IS's. the mouting of the caliper does not line up.

i was skeptical but took a chance with this to see if it would fit the GS. there was word that the brakes on the IS and GS were interchangeable but no one had hard fact so i sucked it up and tried it.

stormforge:
these brakes are 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rear, f-sport.
the isf are 6 pot fronts and 2 pot rear by brembo.

i dont have oem wheels when i got the f-sport so i cant say 100% that the oem wheels do not fit. the reason why i said it would not fit the oem wheels is, the brakes came with stickers stating that the spare does not fit..so it leads me to believe that the wheels do not fit.

now that i thought about it, its made for the IS so the offsets on the wheels may be different. if you guys want to lend me a wheel, ill put it on to see if it clears or needs spacers etc...

his car is gs350, i believe stock are 18s. not sure how big the f sport brakes are, but if it's is-f brakes, the stock wheels won't clear already

is-f brakes, no one can get them at all

Not according to our lovely vendors, they are selling IS-F Brake kits and supposedly fit IS250/350 & 06+ GS300/350/430/460

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=340134

and no is-f bbk are different from F sports

*looks like fitment for is-f for our cars is up in the air.

I believe they pulled back offering IS-F brakes b/c of issues with Lexus and getting them in the first place. THough they have a stock #, they are not readily available.

The IS-F brakes and F-sport brakes are superb after driving both. The IS-F brakes should be lighter, as they are a 2 piece brake kit. The IS-F has one piece solid rotors.

Ah, gotcha. I assumed (in error) that the F-sport brake kit was Brembo. Thx for clarifying that up.

even if IS-F bbk don't fit the 3rd Gen GS, at least we can slap on the F-Sport bbk.
