Of course you guys could start a new thread to discuss the pros and cons of lowering an awd car. I'd be interested. I want to know why staggered is a problem for awd and why the vibration from lowering? Can using certain lowering set-ups prevent the vibration? I'm sure some people aren't having vibration. WHat did they do differently?
I've read countless threads on this forum from doing a search, and every single person has had problems, and most of them went back to the factory set-up. There's a reason you're not suppose to lower/stagger an AWD car, if not, everyone would do it

I've received nothing but compliments on my wheels, and from the pics, you can see it looks fine. There's no excessive gap.
You make a valid point, but at the end of the day it is each to their own. We all have different opinions and different habits of spending our money. Personally I didn't buy my "50 thousand dollar car" so it can look like every other one out there, I like to be unique Your car does look nice though at the stock height. But it seems like that most of the new luxury cars that are coming out now have a decent ride height, compared to 2-4 years ago when they really looked like 4X4's.

you only have 2 options.

1. stay with the stock height

2. drop it.

if the choice is number two you can always go with a more conservative spring like the tein H tech. Its only .8" drop in front and .65 rear. Its pretty damn close to lexus ride quality. The wheels will change your ride quality more than the tein h tech

Agreed.. if you are going to get a new set of wheels, your ride quality will be different anyways... might as well make it look good otherwise leave it as stock.

It really depends on the tires. I haven't had any change in ride quality with my wheels, or the change was so slight I didn't notice it. Do a search for AWD lowered, or some variation of that. There's a big difference between the vibration and shaking people experienced when lowering AWD than the slight difference you might expect when running a larger rim with a silm tire.
