If you enjoy visiting/spending time at the MB service department weekly, then go ahead and DOWNGRADE to Chit-class. And you should get a yellow one and become a taxi driver!?! (that is what they use in Taiwan or Germany).

We (including relatives) used to owned BMW & MB, but now LEXUS only!!!

Don't do it! I have both the GS300 and the 2008 C300 sport (with AMG), both fully loaded. I test drove the C63 after I bought the C300 and I admit that it is a VERY powerful car. But the car is much smaller than the GS and the maintenance is more expensive. And the GS is still much rarer on the road than the Cs, even though you will definitely turn heads with the C63 as opposed to the C300. Just my thoughts.

Why does everyone think he is getting an AMG model? He isn't getting a C63, he wants the C300 or 350.....

I would stay in the GS300 unless you are looking at a C63....but, you said you arn't, so stay with the GS

you could buy a used IS300 (like a 2005 or something) AND keep your GS

do a chip & intake on the IS300 and you have yourself a fun toy

Just stumbled on this thread. I guess it's fitting that it will be my first.

I just traded my Loaded 08 C300 Sport with 19" staggered wheels for an 06 GS w/nav. The GS had only 2000 more miles on it, and was in perfect condition.
I must tell you, there is no comparison with the two cars. The GS is in a different class. I would put the C maybe in the ES class as far as comparable cars. The MB was just too small and didn't seem refined. Not to mention, 90% of the people that started buying the C after I did, were women. I was bored with it very quickly.

I agree, the C class has a cheap interior. IMO, even the E class's interior is not as nice as the GS.

Guys, of course the C isn't as nice as the 3GS, but it's also cheaper... If they both cost the same, I'd definitely pick the 3GS. However, if getting the 3GS is stretching my budget, I'd get the C-class. Although I'd probably take the new A4 over C-class now...

If the 3GS were stretching my budget I'd get a loaded Honda Accord. In fact that's exactly what I used to drive.
