About 9 months ago I was in the same situation and faced the same decision as the OP, new '08 GS350 vs CPO '06 GS430. For me the gen V nav, VSC defeat button and passenger airbag sensor were the tie breaker - coming from a '06 IS350, I couldn't downgrade to the gen 4 nav, and I regret not having the defeat button and airbag sensor (available in 07+ models). A 07 GS430 would've been a much tougher decision, but not many were sold in 07 due to the much anticipated launch of the GS460. . .

Congratuation on the baby and the GS. They are both great with the baby is being a "little" more important....

You made a great choice. I have 2 boys (7 and 2) and they are really tight in the IS.

they have those seat covers? If I am calling it correctly?? I have an older son and in the past I just would put a towel under the seat and that worked. I dont know how safe it was but someone got me this cover that goes over the seat for your worries and will not leave marks or damage the leather. I will see what it is later for you and I can post pics once I install it in the GS
