Talking Traded in my IS350 today for a GS430

Here are the pics I have from the dealer. I really like the car as much as I didnt think I would. It took months to find a car and after driving this car today it was all over for me! Its got the space I was looking for and the car being used was in better shape then my IS was IMO! And I am happy to not have a BLACK car in Chicago anymore! Enjoy some pics from the dealer for now

Thanks
Mike

NOOOOOOO first you betray us and move to a GS but then you ditch the 212.

But i like the GS, how much more roomy is it? I drove a ES loaner and it was bigger but i never been in a GS.

It is actually roomier then the IS. More then I thought it would be. The car seat, since we are expecting any day now, and my son fit comfortably in the back and I like that I have more space up front. I felt a little tight in the IS, not that I am big but it was a smaller car for me. I hope to hold on to it for ~ 3 years and pass it down to a family member and move on to something. else

I am going to try not to but if I do anything it wont be until spring rolls around since winter is not to far away for me. I will get some winter tires/rims in the near future and leave it at that for now. Too many other things going on right now to be getting too crazy! I do wish I kept my rims now seeing the other post with them on! I do like the G-Spyder rims on the red so I am good for now and they just put new tires on the car.

One thing is the car is very quiet compared to the IS. The IS I would hear more road noise on the car, partially due to the tires but it was always loud in the cabin to me. I am surprised how quiet it is for a V8....needs an exhaust

I know its no supercharged IS but it works for an old man like me I do see they have kits for the GS to take it to the next level but I have no interest just yet with this car. I will let the knew factor wear off then I am sure I will consider stuff! When are you going to post up pics of the S/C and some numbers??? I am really curios and wish you where close enough for a ride. Who did you get the kit from anyway? another CL member

Yup. The 3uz-fe engine is quiet as silence itself. No injector tickings at startup, that's for sure

Congrats on the purchase. Sometimes you just have to set priorities straight, even if it meant losing performance for some space.

BTW, how come you didn't get the GS350 instead? It's quicker and fuel economy is better.

She's a looker. Congrats on the nice ride and great choice on the color. Too many GS Gen 3's are dark in color, sort of boring.
