American cars are not that bad...well my Ford isn't....GM on the other hand...I hate with a passion. My newer GS replaced my Ford Escort that has over 200k on the original trans and engine with no problems. Does the car suck otherwise? Yes. Is it reliable and would I trust it to drive across the county? Definitely.

Don't get him started. I did that once, bad idea. He hates all American cars with a passion.

I like my GM though...

Once you understand that it will take $$$ to keep her going, I'd get the E55. I mean its just nearly perfect inside and out.
