Default spring installation in MD, VA area?

i searched in the regional section, but came up with none.
i just received Tein S.tech springs.
seeing how AWD's are prone to possible vibration, potential damage to AFS, etc.. any experienced shops that you guys can recommend?
there's Altered Atmosphere near me, but i think they are more specialized in turbos and tunings..

In Maryland, you may want to try http://www.pro-imports.com. I know they mostly deal with German cars (I had an A4), but Pat is great takes care of my GS300 for me now.

StVincent,

Let me know how the installation turns out for you & if you experience any problems. I still have not decided to pull the trigger in lowering my '06 AWD.

Thanks in advance!

It might be far from you but I use two places, www.vipgarageonline.com. Ask for Marti, he's a great guy. They have a guy there that's a Lexus master tech that works in the garage. Tell him Marty sent you.

Also, I used Pohanka Lexus, but I only go to Jutley. This guy is the best mechanic I've ever seen hands down. Let him know that the guy with the flwless black GS, lowered sent you.

GL!!

I purchased from Lindsey Lexus (Alexandria), but live just down the road from Pohanka. One of their suspension techs (can't recall the name) earlier this year said they could perform the lowering springs installation also. I was shocked to hear a dealership offer to install aftermarket parts. It has been my past experience for dealership svc departments to threaten you with void warranty comments the moment you start talking about aftermarket suspension changes.

ZippyGuy,
Have you used the nearby American Autotech (spelling) down old Pleasant Valley Rd a block or so behnd Lindsey Hummer/Cadillac? It's operated by a former Pohanka Lexus tech, who specializes in Lexus at about 20%-35% less than what Pohanka charges for normal maintenance items?

Based on a recommendation from a member, I've had my RX330 serviced at American Autotech and they've been great even though I had to travel almost an hour to get to them. I've recommeded one of my co-worker's to them to have his LS430 serviced and he's also been satisfied with the service.
