Extended Warranty

yes, 72/100, loud and clear. it does not include prepaid services, just extended warranty. so yours is apple to orange. like i said, my previous sc430 and ls460l were both more expensive than the gs350, with the ls460l topping over 80k. and even that car the extended warranty wasn't more than 2000 bucks. what else can i say.
i will just say this, I8ABMR. don't make it sound like you have the money and you are right, money don't mean crap to some people here. if you want to throw out 3k for extended warranty and feel like you do the right thing, by all means, no one is going to stop you, and i'd be more than happy to refer you to my sales guy so he can have a nice extra bonus for the month.
and if it's really nothing to you, then why bother asking it here, just go to dealership and buy whatever. just don't ask us anymore (since you think paying 1200 means we are all driving accords, which i guess some would take as an insult), you don't need help

why are you getting so emotional ???? I just wanted to know what the price of the 3gs extended warranty was, and in passing I mentioned that I extended my wifes warranty ( thats what sparked the curiosity about my car). Then you guys make the acura warranty the issue and start in with the unwanted opinions about how I choose to spend my money. I asked the price of a warranty , not for opinions on the value of the warranty on my wifes acura TL. I do have the money and I am 100% right, because its my money, my car, my life. . you are being a litle rude frankly. Especially for a moderator.
also honda accords cost half as much as our cars do. so yes, the warranty is probably half as much most likely. why would I offend someone by saying that?? enough said.

Hi Joe,
I am currently offering the Lexus Platinum Program for 7 yrs / 100,000 miles
w/ $0 deductible for $1655.00 and the 7 yr / 75,000 mile plan for $1295.00
on the GS350.
Most of the details on the Platinum plans can be found directly at the
Lexus website at the following link, including all the various terms and
options available, just let me know if you would like a quote on a different
plan.
http://www.lexus.com/models/GS/warra...rotection.html
Here are the purchase instructions if / when you decide to purchase.
I would need you to mail me an original signed letter indicating the exact
current mileage on your vehicle, and a copy of your current registration.(If
you are in a state where you don't get your state registration right away, I
can also use a copy of the bill of sale, purchase contract, or some other
official document which shows the owners name and address, along with the
vehicles VIN)
Sorry, I know its a little inconvenient, but its the only way we could come
up to cover ourselves on the mileage and VIN verification. After I receive
your letter, I can call you for credit card info, if that's how you choose
to pay, or you can include a check, money order, or the credit card info
with it. Also, make sure that the registration copy is legible (I have
gotten a couple of them recently that I couldn't read or had part of the VIN
chopped off on the copy).
Mail to:
Toyota of Greenfield
12 Olive Street
Greenfield, MA 01301
Attn: Troy Dietrich
Please call or email me if you think of any more questions. My phone number
is (413) 772-0989.
Thanks,
Troy

Wow, 1300 bucks, that a bargain. BTW, that $2300 does seem high for the TL since it doesnt have AWD. We bought a 7 year extented warranty for our 04 Acura MDX for $1300.

sounds like a great price. I keep hearing that the sooner you buy the warranty the lower the cost. I am not sure about that, but I know I want my baby covered until 100k miles

does lexus ever offer warranties for over 100k miles? i realize it's probably riskier business for them since the likelihood of problems occuring AFTER 100k miles is much higher, but wondering if this is ever offered from them.
