50+% in 3 years.
3 Years??? Right now an 07 is only 1 model year old, soon to be 2 model years old. The mileage is 3 years worth. Still about 50 cents per mile just in depreciation !!!

Yup, when I traded my (mint+) '06 IS350, it was worth 69% of msrp after only 18mos. So this time around I got wise and leased - according to LFS, my '08 GS is worth 51% after 39mos. . .

I was thinking of doing the same trade up in the next few years. I want to enjoy the gS for a while, but I am pretty sure the LS460 will be the next ride , but I am still trying to get myself a GTR ( not just talk ). I have family in Nissan corporate, and I am going to take advantage of that as much as possible. lol. congrats again man. If it were mine I would put some 22's on that thing with a nice drop, and she done.

Why do you say that the LS is an upscale ES? We don't have the ES in the UK, but I have seen them when I have been to the USA. The ES is front wheel drive and the LS is rear wheel drive. They must handle differently.

I used to think the GS has bad resale value too until I started doing research on other vehicle's resale value. So far I have check MB E350, Audi A6, Lincoln and BMW 535. Out of those cars, the GS has the best resale value.

The LS460 is definitely on a class of it's own, and it's super smooth! Congrats.
