Yes, downshift when you enter the turn to have more control and to slow down if you've entered it too fast. You should notice that the car feels more stable and responsive to your accelerator touch as you drive through the corner. You would then also accelerate out of the corner and shift up.

If you ever drive on windy roads, then you can also use this technique. Drop down a gear below where it would be in automatic mode to feel more secure.

Just watch the rev counter to make sure you are not thrashing your engine. Once the engine begins to make noise, look at the rev counter and shift up.

that would be a problem for the GS450h owners - no rpm gauge!

Hahah thanks, but then, in the instructions, it said that it would only downshift if ur below a certain speed....otherwise, itll ignore u
