Hi, got a few questions for those who has the wings lip kit installed.

How is the quality and fitment of the kit?
How much did it cost for installation and paint?
Did it need any major work to get it fit right?

The reason I'm going for the Wings kit is because its 1/3 or 1/4 of the INGS price, and that I am not going to keep it forever. So please no comments of "its a Lexus, pay the premium" :P

People have but they don't frequent Clublexus a lot. There were a couple in the 3GS modification thread but they haven't come back since.

well, I took the plunge and ordered the kit.. will report back on fitment later.. now I just need to find a good body shop in sacramento..

i think that most members here go with original jdm parts; knock offs aren't really popular among the 3GS crowd (at least that is my perception)

If I can do it over again, I would get the original and save the headache and the money. With that said, Tony from mach performance who helped me with the kit did a great job.

The fitment was awful, he had to cut the ends of both front and the back to make it fit then reapply fiberglass onto the end to extend it. The sidesteps did not fit at all, I had to order the original ings sidesteps.

If they had the ings kit at the 1500 price point at that time, I would've gone with it. I had it done for a few months now, but never took any good pictures of it. But heres a couple.

Sorry to hear your dismay with the kit. Replica does not equal quality. Say no to knockoffs!
