hey guys

i just bought a gs 350 form the states, i live in canada

its fully loaded navi and all

this has prob been posted but i dont really understand this stuff so help if u can

in the owners manuel there is a section that shows some gs models can play dvds etc... although mine doestn

is there any way i can mod it so it can play dvds tv etc

also, my odometer is in miles, is there any way it can be switches into KM

and one more think lol, my gs bumper is different than most gs models, the inner lights blend into the chrome grill, is this a newer design or what???

Yes you can mod it to play DVD. You need to go to a stereo shop or any place that does custom stereo work that you can trust to work on your car. They will install a DVD player in the glove box or trunk or under the seat. you will have a toggle switch to go between both navi and other info screen to the dvd player.

the ODO i dont think they can change it but not positive.

If you have the Mark Levinson system, you can install a module from Prestige Society that will allow you to use your 6 disc changer and nav screen as a DVD player while the car is in motion for your passengers.

There is no easy way to change the odometer from miles to Km and the 08 and 09 GS have the new design grill.

whitegs350, you need the Mark Levinson package to play DVDs. As per 2thfixr, you will need to do a hack if you want to be able to watch DVDs while driving (although this is illegal in Ontario and will result in a $110 fine).
