I am buying 2 GS 350 in silver with nav, blue tooth, ventilated seats, and HID lights. What should I pay? I was thinking $1000 off dealers invoice? should I ask for more??
Thanks

all i can tell you is......play hardball! now is the time to be buying cars if you can afford it.
Silver GS's are a dime a dozen. you can go to any dealership and see 2-3 of em. DO NOT go to 1 dealership!!! Call around and make em fight between themselves for your money. i wouldnt be suprised if you get 2 cars with the ML package for what you were expecting to pay for a non-ML car.
take your time. it will save you thousands!!! $$$$$$$$$$
i literally bought my car over the phone. at one point i had 3 dealerships fighting for my business until one of em couldnt take it anymore, they gave me an outstanding deal, i went to the dealership and the papers were already drawn up. i signed, and was flossing my new GS in 20 minutes!!!!

I bought 2 g35 sedans before and played hardball. 1000 below invoice on both and it was still very early after the release of the car. Now they are really desperate. borderline bankrupt. beat them up. You have time to spare. also play the dealerships against each other. tell dealershipo x that dealer y told he would give you the price you want. I do it all of the time. screw them bec they make their living off of screwing you.

the way i look at it....the ML sound is like getting a car without power windows, A/C, or something like that. this particular option is a little more expensive than most of those but in the scheme of things, it only adds a little to the monthly payment in relation to what you get.
for me....i didnt even consider getting a 3GS w/o the ML package. i listen to music LOUD and im one of those people who regrets not getting stuff later. besides, i like top of the line stuff. its about $50K were spending, treat yourself with the best.

I listen to the ML system and the non-ML system back to back for 30 mins, my dealer thought I was crazy. The standard system is pretty good, the ML is not that much better. In the end, I could not justify the 2000 bucks for the ML system.

My experience was the opposite. I drove one car with the ML system and thought it sounded great. And, not knowing the second car didn't have the ML, I kept on adjusting the trebble, bass, etc. I finally told the salesman that I thought the ML system sounded better than this, and he responded "well, this one doesn't have the ML".

Now is the time to buy. Don't restrict yourself to dealers close to you. I have a car broker that does all my deals, and his recommendation was to call about 3-4 dealers to find the best price. $3000 off invoice is doable fer sure! Just gotta find the right one. And I agree, if you're getting into a GS, go for ALL the bells and whistles. it's better to have and not need, than to need or want and not have!

and as whlkev stated......the ML package comes with in-dash DVD player as well. which like most of us have done, can be hacked to watch movies while driving!! Not that i do that though, that would be illegal.

I don't understand where people are getting the "$3,000 off invoice" price. Isn't that well under cost for the dealer even considering holdback? Why would they ever sell you a new vehicle for a loss?
