Lawsuit time. The brake squealing caused the driver behind you to get distracted obviously. Either that or their car's muffler bearings were not adjusted properly.

Needless to say... I'm HAPPY!
Do the low dust brake pads have longer braking distances than the high friction pads?

Ive had this TSIB work done in Feb 2010 and driven about 10k miles and the noise is back!! I took my car in for service and the Lexus dealership told me they can't do anything for me anymore. I called lexus (1.800.25LEXUS) and was rudely asked what i wanted done. I told her: DUH...fix my brakes..and rattles while you're at it! Car is almost embarassing to drive!

interesting that the dustless brakes screech too.

I've got 6 months left on my warranty, and wanted to get this done since mine squeal occasionally.

Does anyone know if this has to do with properly bedding the brakes..... or did lexus just botch this one up?

how common is it for high performance brakes to squeal after 15k miles?

I think its quite common. I have found the Lexus brakes to be much less prone to squealing than my old e46 BMW brakes.
