The A6's back seats are hugh compare to the GS, more head and leg room in the back and the front even though both car have similar dimension. Also the trunk in the A6 is about twice as big as the GS and the back seats can fold down for additional storage.

We actually looked at the A6 before buying our GS as I really liked it. Too bad the sales guy couldn't figure out how to work the center controller dial or whatever you call it.

the 2nd gen GS's were works of art. I LOVED LOVED LOVED those cars. My friend had a Dazz Motorsports GS400 and that thing was my dream car. It was comfortable too.
I wanted one for so long, i thought the 3GS would be better...
i feel lied to

yeah, with the GS, you ask where the space went?
it feels like there's a lot of padding on the inside of the GS, and that makes it seem smaller. padding in the roof, padding in the trunk....
it squishes everything and makes it feel smaller

I would say the room is taken up by the sound insulation, but other sedans in this class is actually quieter on the highway. I dont understand it, Toyota is so good at make the most out of the interior space, but what happen to the GS?
