So for the first time in the long long time i've had my GS i sat in the back while my friend drove.

FAIL.

I had to lean to the right so i couldn't mush my head against the top.

As a driver, it's meh, as a backseat passenger...SHOOT ME

it's the fastback roof.

the G35 would've had this same problem, but they molded the headliner to give more headroom.

lexus could've done that.

it's perfect the way it is.. i don't like extreme headroom that makes the car looks so top heavy like toyota echo

while at it, the legroom isn't that impressive neither

basically the rear room in the 3gs is disappointing by my book (look at the 5 and e)

Well I've been in the back of a E500, and its very similar to the 3GS. Haven't been in the back of a 5 series yet. And the 3GS seems cavernous compared to the 2IS. The solution - always insist on driving. . .

lol you forgot the fact that i had a gs400? that car has much more rear space than the current one. at least i feel that way and most people who sat in both cars say the same

I do agree with you that the rear head room is not that best but I like the way that how outside it cut that make our car looks very sharp.

I am tall so sitting in the back is not going to happen. at 6'5" its barely happening in the front seat.lol The trunk also need to be opened up a little. Infiniti has a signature kind of bubble roof to its cars . more headroom,but the lexus looks better. faster lines
