Its still in the mail, expecting it any day now, but was curious what should I expect.
i really don't know the answer, but you sure those will clear your brakes up front?

Thank rominl, my old GX470 had a TPMs on the spare, but thats a full size spare pump to 33 PSI. For a donut to have a sensor, the system would need a different alarm setpoint for the spare tire.

full size spare i can imagine. my ls460l also had full size spare and it also has tps. so the monitor displays 5 psi including spare

The monitor for the GX470 is the same as the GS, no PSI display for individual tires, just a warning light.

It’s the original Lexus compact spare wheel from GS300 (3GS). Why wouldn't it clear it? I found it by going through www.car-parts.com where one of the search selections is 17x4 spare. So I'm not sure if this is an exact size or just a common size they use in their search engine. I sure hope that compact spare from GS300 will be of the right size I will let you guys know as soon as I receive it.

gs300 doesn't have the same brakes as your gs350. gs350/430/450h/460 all have much bigger brakes and huge calipers. the spare donut will have to be special design in order to clear the brakes. that's not needed for gs300

for example back in the supra days, only the supra tt came with the bigger brakes. their donut spare was shaped differently.

but again on the 3gs300, i don't know

Here you go, just found official reference with SKU# for GS350 compact spare wheel (17x4): http://www.everdrive.com/skus/WA/539...heel--one-.htm

Here is another link discussing it @ clublexus: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=320608

Seems 3GS (and 2IS) all use the same 17x4 compact spare wheel.

does it flash or constantly on?

try this. turn the car off...put ALL the tires at 60 psi. press the start button twice. key on eng. off. go around and set ALL the tires to 35 psi within 5 mins. then reach up under the drives side dash and find the re-set button. press and hold it until the low tire light flashes 3 times. and you just re-initialized the TPMS.

if you have the yellow-ish color donut. then leave it at 60 psi.

I bought my 2006-08 GS "spare" wheel from Park Place Lexus: (42611-30A60) for $102.35 and $11 for the screw thing to secure it in the trunk. My tire shop mounted a ContiMiniSpare 155/70-17 tire for another $150. They just used a conventional valve stem. No TPMS was required or suggested.

Ok, I think I finally got rid of it! I've set psi above normal to 36. Then reduced to 34psi and tried ressetting TPMS, this time it worked. Hopefully it will stay like this!

Tell ya the truth, I dont really see the point of having such sensors when there is no way to tell which tire is about to get flat?! My 2GS did not have any sensors lol and it was fine, less headache... Anyways, thank you all for your replies!
