I have a 2006 GS300 without NAV, DVD or ML. It does have the large LCD screen and a the 6-disc CD changer.

I am looking at the SL2Vi ipod integration kit.

Is there a hack that will allow me to watch ipod video on the dash screen while the car is in motion?

If so, can you provide a link/detail?

It would seem it would just be this e-brake wiring hack I have seen, but not sure.

please correct me, but isn't that the screen is monochrome only for cars without nav/ml? so you are going to watch black and white videos?

What did the vaistech folks say about it without ML system?

Vaistech says it will work with my system - I do have the large screen in the dash.

However, what I am interested in finding out is if the "wire hacks" described in the sticky posts on here will allow me to watch ipod video while in motion. And if so, which one(s).

look in the sticky I made, I am pretty certain that simply cutting the purple wire will do what you need, you may also need to ground the yellow parking wire....
