i hope you're joking...your side mirrors are there for a purpose, to help you see what's coming up behind you (or beside you). folding it while driving defeats the purpose of having any side mirrors!

lol... that's only when i'm slipping thru a narrow area. more specifically, what i meant by "folding while driving" was that for a moment i'll close them, squeeze thru wherever I'm going, and the open them back up

For me it's everytime I park my ride in a lot. Don't need some dickweeds door flying open and catching my mirror. Also...I might be imagining things here but when somebody sees your mirrors folded in, I woiuld hope that they take more care getting in and out of their cars. OR some bonehead sees your car parked out in the back 40(w/mirrors folded) and they park their POS right next to yours just to **** you off.
