Default Huh? Did Previous GS350 owner replace oil filter housing??

So I'm about to do my first oil change after purchasing my used 2007 GS350 4 months ago and after reading up on everything I am ready to open the oil filter housing with my 65mm oil filter socket, and instead I find this. What is this? Is it some sort of aftermarket housing that's easier to open/close?? Or is it normal?

It looks like the oil filter wrench the last person used, is stuck on there.

It popped off easily with a flat screwdriver.

I couldn't find one locally. Ended up paying about $18 for one online.

Speaking of oil changes... I think the price went up! I remember paying around $35 for an oil change and now it's over $50. I'm use to doing it myself... so maybe I'll do it for now on. Plus I hate leaving my cars with others, removing the front lip so they don't scrap it AND have to raise the car up cause I'm "too" low according to them.
