Bugs and grime from my front end

What is the best way to get the bugs, tar and grime from off my front bumper and hood? I want to clay, polish and wax it but before i do, i gotta get that crap off!!!!!! Is there any type of cleaner or certain time of cloth or sponge that you all can recommend?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

thats what i use. for stuff stuck on the car i have a bottle of this in my cargo net in the trunk and for bird poop and other little things, i have a bottle of quick detailer.
