I've used this calculator and actullay i wanted match up the speedometer. 275/35/19 is matches up with OEM 18 wheel, right? However, it's wider so more chance to rub I guess....

How do you guys correct the odometer? I definitly don't want more odometer than I actually ran. I've used a yellow box when I've changed the final gear on my last S2000.

stock tires are either 225/50/17 or 245/40/18

the matching sizes for 19s would be 245/35/19 and 275/30/19

245/40/19 and 275/35/19 would have overall diameter 1" larger than oem spec

that's right. I misunderstood....
anyways...It's kinda awkward to see my rear wheel sticking out like some rollerskate...
Frustrated bit I feel after spending 3k...

I got 245/35/19 front. 265/30/19 on rear. Rear tire looks little wacky. I should have gotten the 275/30/19 instead. I can't wait to install the Coilover.

Yea the front tire looks out of place. I saw this tires size set up for the GS as a local member picked up rims/tires for his IS that where for the GS. IMO I will run a smaller series tire in the front. It looks out of place to have a smaller looking tire and something fat up front. All that matters is the rear assuming its RWD only....

same here, 265 in the back is ok, and you probably need those to clear the fenders

265 isn't look good on 19/10 as you said. I can't wait to instal 275 on my rear. I've just order Tanabe Sustec Pro 5. I'll post the good picture later on.

Rominl,
when you roll the front fender, does your fender looks like it's pulled out?
I did my fender at a shop and it looks like it's been pulled out.
I told them I don't like the looks of it,
then they tells me that they can't shave the front because it's a one piece, not like double piece rear, it will bend out if they do roll it.
Is this correct?
I want it looks like flat normal, like I didn't do anything as of looks from the outside.
I don't want those front fender looks like it's been pulled out.

does this ring a bell?... "you get what you pay for"

im willing to bet the Shade Tree Mechanic you took your $50K car to charged you close to nothing to "roll" your fenders right?

WoW!! thats unfortunate.

umm, you have any pics?

the front is much harder to shave, but my friend with gs350 actually got his front shaved as well. i didn't shave or roll my front, i just bent more of the fender lip up for clearance.

i don't know what they mean about 1piece vs 2 piece though (front/rear). to me both of them have the same design, but the lip in the rear is 90 degrees, whereas front lip is bent up a lot to begin with already
