I think European models have different gearing, maybe. If you take a look at German mags I think none of Lexus models have sub 6 second 0-100km/h time.

 

If you listen carefully, the video might be showing a GS300....but the engine note is obviously a V8

Also, we have it really really good here in the US. A brand new 3rd Gen GS300 costs around USD$125k in Singapore. Some countries tax the hell out of imported cars. Another example, LS460 is USD$200k+, LS460L is $230k+. The cheapest car, a Lexus IS250, costs USD$90K. A top of the line fully loaded LS600HL is USD$270k+!

So again, we have GREAT prices here in the US

US site GS460 is 5.4 and GS450h is better at 5.2.

100 kmh is 62.13712 mph, so it is more than 60. But yes, you wouldn't think 2 mph would add a half of a second.

I paid $43k for my GS350 here and $82k in Taiwan, it is almost buy on get one free here in the US!!!

Freaking income tax is killing me here in the US, and getting screw in Taiwan for the import tax (I am being srcrewed both way, but not as bad as before now is only 100% vs. 150% on import tax)!!!

Engine does sound like the 3.5L V6 but the exhaust honestly almost sounds like the IS-F. Even the GS 460 does not sound that aggressive.

 

...in fact, I'm fairly certain that most of those exhaust noises are from the IS-F. A little misleading, Lexus!

Additionally, I thought Infiniti's old design language was called "bionic cheetah" wasn't it?

You guys are analyzing that video WAAAAY too much. The GS460 can sound like that at WOT. I've spent a good amount of time in both GS350, GS460 and IS-F. Although muted, the GS460 does sound pretty similar to what was heard in that video. It's the intake and engine noise you are hearing, not the exhaust.
