Fog & daytime running lights...
Hi CL members,
I just purchase a Silver 06 GS430 and would like to ask if anybody has upgraded the DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS to an aftermarket bulb that would me much brighter than the OEM. If yes..what brand and where can i get these bulbs. Thank you for your time !!!

I bought my DRL LED bulbs and DRL Module at V-leds.com. I got them at home but I haven't put them in yet... I'll be sure to post up the pics...
FYI - Won't be able to use high beams
Here is the thread where I got the idea from:

Brighter or Whiter ? I chose to go whiter, so I put PIAA Xtreme White in my DRLs and Mtec Xenon White in my fogs. The DRLs are still yellowish due to running on half power, but the highs more closely match the Hids. The fogs are a perfect match for the Hids.

um, i had 9005 DRL LED bulb directly put into the lamp.. it didn't to the flickering.
so, i guess u dont' really need the DRL modules
and yeah, if u put LED as ur DRL, u pretty much give up ur high beam
u still can flash ppl at night, but ppl will notice only if they look into ur headlight
that's why i change back to halogen bulb
and for those who wanan put HID on high beam, that's a BIG NO NO!!
well, i've done it on my gs yet, but from my old corolla and solara experience,
here is what happened.
01 Corolla DRL output is so low that it will burn the HID convertor
on 04 Solara, the car will sense the voltage incorrect and assume the light bulb is burnout, and nothing will lights up
i'll assume GS probably share the same DRL system as solara,
so nothing should lights up.
and if u put HID, it takes forever to lights up and it's impossible use it as flasher.
and it's toooooooo bright that i don't think u dare to turn it on at really dark night (i just worry it's too glaring and promote other ppl drive into my car)
so... i guess don't mess around with it

I bought a set of DRL LED bulbs and the DRL Module so it can deliver full power to the LED bulbs. If you don't buy the DRL Module with it than flickering will occur.
