Yes it should work.. Just make sure you get the right bulb for the 2nd Gens... I originally got the idea from the IS forum so it should work. Make sure you get the module to prevent the flickering...

During the day it looks really good.....I could see them off other cars reflection as I drive up behind them. They are noticeable during the day! Which is what I really love about them.....

It will work for sure on your 2nd Gen GS, just make sure you order the right fitment/bulb size for it. I believe its the same as the 3rd Gen GS which is 9005.
looks great and how did you changed reverse light?? how?? did you removed cover???and how???
Just pop the trunk open, and right where the reverse bulb is located there is a clip that you pop off, u will see the bulb underneath, just twist and turn the bulb out. Then pull it off to replace.....very simple.
