So now a company in Japan came out with a Throttle Body for the 06+ GS350 and the GS430. I was going to buy it and test it out, only problem is i want to make sure it will fit before i make the order...

I have a 06' GS300 not the gs350, does anyone know if the throttle bodies would be the same or did they modify that as well? From what i heard is that the throttle body down to the intake is pretty much the same.

What do the pros think heh Cant wait to see this mod and how much gains would actually come from it....

 

What are you looking to get out of it?What other mods do you have to the motor?

 

Larger smooth bored TB's would yield more HP than any intake alone out there. It'll usually give a deeper throatier sound. Had one in my Honda days.

 

What do you mean by looking to get out of it? =\ ....i know you wont get hp with having no mods and just adding a throttle body, believe me...it will help my setup alot with the added airflow, wich in turn will add me some hp..

Im just happy that another mod for the motor came out. Unfortunately as you all know us 06+ gs owners dont have the choice of too many mods for performance...If anyone knows of any other mods for performance that came out let me know..

But im going to use it to add more horse power...i have way to many mods to even list, you can check my build posts to see what i have, but adding a larger throttle body will let more air flow in, so with the mods i do have and also when my supercharger comes in i can have even more airflow...i've added a throttle body to every project car ive ever done and i think its a mod that gets overlooked sometimes, but if you have a supercharger its a must and even for other setups as well!


Does anyone know though if the throttle body on the 06' gs300 is the same as it is in the gs350? Please your help would be great and very much appreciated!

 

sounds like a cool mod man. It will add more response to the throttle and add a few ponies. I would do this mod with an intake , an exhaust, and an ECU retune/reflash

Usually I/H/E is completed before people move on to the TB. Sounds like you're still missing headers.
