2009 Lexus GS 350

- (MSRP - 49,030.00) - 18" Summer Tires with Spare Tire, Navigation System Includes: Generation 5 Navigation System and Voice-Activation with Destination Input, Rear Spoiler, Illuminated Door Sills, Preferred Accessory Package
Your Special Price = $44,416.00 + fees

Would payment option affect the final OTD price of the car?

Thanks for your help!

Okay guys, here is another quote I got from the same dealership, but for a brand new 2008 GS350 with the same option. The price is $41600 + fees.

I am thinking about asking for 40k flat. That will make it ~43k OTD. I think that sounds like a good deal. What do ya think?

I did a 2008 w/o Nav last week in Houston for 41K, about 8K off sticker and 1200 under invoice. I'm satisfied with the price.

The entire state of Texas has about the same number of dealerships in the SoCal area, if I recall right.

What do you expect? Lexus screwed up in the California / Florida markets. When you put a whole bunch of places selling the same product in one area, you get price wars. Texas doesn't have that problem.

There is so few Lexus dealers in Texas because the demand is lower than CA. Lexus is not exactly a good old boyz kind of car. If Lexus makes a full size pickup truck that gets 4 MPG, then they might be a little more popular down in Texas

Demand is the same...I mean, the rednecks obviously have to have a truck for hauling their chubby azz to work and back, but Heaven forbid their "lil darlin" be forced to drive around in something not befitting her status in life. After spending all that money on botox and bewbies and tummy tucks and everythng else, they need a good-looking car too, right?

You couldn't have found a picture of the car with Jessica Simpson in Daisy Dukes sprawled across it?

I think the ultimate dream in Texas is this -

Thanks.....Ray Catena quoted me $43,200 + TTL in Jan '08 for an '08. I was wondering if anyone has any current info taking into consideration the latest market conditions and the '09's that are hitting the dealerships as we speak.

It's my experience as well that RC Lexus has the most aggressive pricing in the area.....I'm just trying to figure out what to shoot for when I steal....uhhh...I mean "buy" my new GS.

I am going to a Lexus dealer in Los Angeles area later. I will be offering 40k for the 2008 GS + navigation. I will keep everyone posted on the deal.

Okay here is the summery of my trip. Before I had a chance to offer $40k for the 2008 GS 350 + navigation, the dealer offered me $43k OTD price. That's pretty crazy. $43 OTD is essentially buying the car for $39k or so.

This is really getting me tempted. I told the dealer that I will think about it for a few days before I decide. To my knowledge there are still quite a few GS350 left. Maybe they are under a lot of pressure to get rid of them aSAP!

Jack, I'm in the bay area and I've had some hits from a few dealerships but I'm not close in price to your quote. What dealer are you working with?

You guys definitely have it good there. Here, in Vancouver, a dealer will maybe take off freight and PDI if you pull some teeth (~$2k), but never below MSRP (which is comes to ~$52,000 USD with tax and everything for an 09 GS 350 RWD w/NAV). Even a used 07 is around $40,000 w/tax and you can barely find 1-2 country wide.
