I have placed the order with the MFG directly and will have a full blown thread on DIY instructions with pictures on how to install. They "look" the same as what I have seen from vendors on here and I assume they are all coming from the same place For the deal I couldnt pass up the offer for providing them pics of the IS and GS and the instructions that I will also post and share with CL.

I believe that Nigel is going to be getting these also as a CL vendor

This will take some time as I will paint them with a few other parts that will also go on the car and its pretty cold here so I have to get into the dealer after hours to get all this done

Hope this is good news for the 3gen GS owners that have considered doing this.

You will need to ask Nigel if they are the same. I think the 08 is a different shape and it has the OEM signal on the side. To the best of my knowledge this is for the 07 and 08 3 gen GS. The 2 gen has a different shape.

those may be cheap in price, but after seeing the 2008 factory winkers, i think all the aftermarket ones are ugly.

I think I'll pass on this fanboy stuff, it looks good on the 2IS but not on the 3GS. I prefer the simple 06-07 mirrors. Sometimes, too many lights are... ricey.

This is what everyone said on the 2IS till I got them installed and went through the same process. I agree the 2IS needed and I mean NEEDED them But I personally like the look of these and it will flow nicely with the stuff I am doing to the car...I dont think they are "ricey" or then the newer GS models are "ricey"

If there is no interest I wont post the DIY and stuff then. Had a few PM me in the past asking if I was going to do it so just offering to help out

One thing good about the 08 oem side mirror is that it matchs the grill on the GS.

I'm not a fan of the 08 mirrors or front bumper change either. The mirrors are big and bulky. I rather add on the JDM side marker before the mirrors.

I ordered a set of these as well and will post some pics as well, so where is the best place to tap into the tirn signal? I assume it is got to be in the floor board since the signal has to get to the rear end....

^ Post a pic of the covers so we can compare them please. Did you get any info on the wires to tap yet? I plan to take the covers to get painted then I will go to the dealer after hours to install. They have the tools to find the wires if need be. I will see if I can find someone with the PDF like I was able to on the IS350. I missed mine somehow being home today so I will pick them up on Monday and take a quick pic and then call the guy to pick up my stuff that needs to be painted. Finally get to install all this stuff
