I'm trying to relocate my UGLY BLACK BOX for XM next to my rear brake behind the seats...but i can't figure how to take the back seats dashboard out. Have anyone or does anyone know how to get this apart? Do i half to take the back seats apart? I took the lining inside the trunk apart by taking the clips off but had no luck of getting the wirings thru any holes to the rear brake lights...any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Ok,

First off you stated you don't know how to pull the Dash Pad out.. Why don't you just purchase a OEM XM radio unit and it's plug and play in the trunk. No cheap boxes or wires. It comes with a simple box that mounts in the rear, tucked up into the pass.side trunk area. It's all hidden when you put the lining back in. It comes with a simple harness that loops into your amp. But if you wan't to know how to pull the back seats out here you go. If you have a 2006-newer GS 300,350,450h,460.

Put the front seats all the way forward, now pull up on the rear seat bottom in the middle of driver/pass rear seat, there is 2 clips that holds it on. Once you pull it up to release it, it slides right out. Now, You will have 2 or 4 12mm or 14mm nuts/bolts that you have to remove on the bottom. Remove them. Now once removed put your hands on the bottom of the seat back and pull up, at the top of the seat back there are hangers that you have to clear in order for the seat to fall forward. It's kinda tricky but just stick on foot on the metal rear seat lining, and then just push/pull up really hard and there you go. Back seat is out.
