Who has Dynoed their 3gen GS?

I think it's worth a try. The number we were seeing didn't make sense for your car.
I remembered another dyno shop near me. I'll PM you the info so you can contact them.

I did a web search on lexus + vsc + dyno, and found that this may actually be what you need to do. One page even said this is referred to as "dyno mode"
1. Start the engine
2. Engage the parking brake
3. Depress and release the brake pedal twice
4. Disengage the parking brake
5. Depress and hold the brake pedal while engaging and releasing the parking brake twice
6. Release the brake pedal
7. Engage the parking brake
8. Depress and release the brake pedal twice
9. Disengage the parking brake
The Check VSC and Traction Control indicator lights come on when the systems are disabled (the steps are a pattern and you only need to continue until the lights come on). It resets when the car is subsequently restarted.

good grief X2! egads, the instructions sound like some video game cheat mode! seriously, i think any dyno shop will laugh at us when we tell them we have to do this before we run the dyno.

You can easily estimate that the car is putting down between 260-268 hp to the wheels. Driveline power loss is usually around 10-12%. I was a dyno freak with my G35.

I think we are closer to 20% drive train loss. I was expecting ~ 250. Mr Johnson said closer to 240. He did his GS400 5 spd vs GS430 6spd so it will be interesting to see the difference. I need to call Andy tomorrow and see what he thinks we can try or if he can dig and get me some info. I want to make sure we have this down for the next time as Mr Johnson and I spent a few hours at the dyno trying to get this to work. These guys where really cool and willing to work with us. I think they did like 15 pulls total for me to see if we could get it to work and only charged me for 3 pulls
