Default Pricing Help 2007 GS 350 or 2006 GS 300

Hello everyone! I have been reading posts for a few months now as a lurker. I am interested in purchasing a GS. I live in Houston and everytime I find a GS with the options I prefer (color, miles, etc) it is has been sold. It seems the GS's do not last long here. I decided to drive to Dallas this weekend as I found the 3 cars below at a dealership there. I have already sold my car, so I do not have a trade in. Obviously, I need a car soon, but I can wait for the right one. My budget is $27500. The two '06's do not have navigation but the '07 does. I would love the 2007 but I am not sure if I can get it down to my target price. Also, the 06's are lease returns and the '07 is a trade-in. I do not know if that makes a difference but I know someone out there will have an opinion on that and I would love to hear it! Thanks in advance!

I purchased 07 GS 350 AWD Loaded 39500 miles Obsidian Black with Cashmere Int.
7 / 100000 warranty $31,500 in Chicago in December

It seems to me that dealers are all over the place on pricing

I'm in Houston too... FYI, no reason to get AWD here. I bought mine from a dealer in Alabama in July. See this post.

And you are right, Houston market sucks both for new and used.

I am going to make an offer on the 2007 GS first. I can pay cash, it just depends on what the APR is at the time of financing. Toyota mentioned something about qualifying for the Encore program through Lexus - told me to make sure I asked about it. She said "it is listed on your account". Not sure what it means, she said sometimes a lower rate, etc. So I will make the call as I go through the process. Hopefully, the cars I found will still be there.

Luckily, Dallas has two dealerships with 2-3 cars each that fit my color combo, options, etc.

Not sure what I'll offer - I might start with 30% off of the 2007 as it was a trade. Start at 26,00 and see waht they say!

Thanks!

Be careful, you may end your negotitations quickly with an insulting offer, I think auction will get more than 26k for that car...
