Youre not gonna get much, probably not even enough to tell the difference. Best one I believe is the tanabe exhaust.

i don't think there is any true dual exhaust available for GS.. maybe a full catback from the JIC, but have not seen one yet.. rest are just for sound and looks imo..

Agreed... The sound will probably just create an illusion of extra HP

they just did an article on the F sport exhausts and they said they add like 1.4 hp to the wheels of an IS250. I would think maybe 3 hp on a GS350. The intakes adaed like 3 hp. Its more for attitude that any real power. I think you could add a hypergounding kit and get more power than the exhaust

check out the tech sections in any tuner magazine that did a real dyno review and I think you will see whats up. I wouldnt have believed it unless I saw it on a real dynograph. Its more than hype

this is what i don't get...how could using a different grounding wire improve performance? i understand if you use better cables in a car audio system, you'll get better sound quality. but grounding?

it works. I don't think its worth the few hundreds for a few hp gian but it works. Stock gronds are ok but when youy have a great ground power flows better in turn increasing everthing. Your not going to get 30hp from this, but when you have a car (like the evo) and you are ectracting every possible hp from the car, this mod would be the last thing you do to get everything. i don't think its worh the money for gains you can see only on the dyno.

those grounding kits are BS but adding more grounds will increase your horse power not by much but it will. If you want a cheap version of a ground kit go buy some 99.9% oxygen free 4ga or 0ga power wire for car audio and it will do the same thing.... grounding your car isnt the same thing as adding say an intake but it will improve your throttle response

my .02, which is limited - just looking around at exhaust as a final add on, fabulous makes one that claims 6-8 hp at the wheel. i haven't read of anyone actually having this exhaust setup, so i have no idea if it is accurate. copy from L-tuned:

INFERNO OVAL MUFFLER W- all stainless steel, LH and RH sides,120mm tip,HP gains are 6-8 to the wheels

Just do a custom dual catback exhaust w/ magnaflow mufflers. It'll come out less than a tanabe setup.

PM Passnu2(Mike) about it.

I TOTALLY agree - Independent Dyno tests are more factual than "self" claim Dyno HP numbers...

With the above independent dyno HP numbers (f sport exhaust + intake)----It makes me wonder how K&N Typhoon filters claim they can produce up to 18hp????--Id love to see Independent (not self claimed) tests on this to get my $$$ worth

This is no longer the 1960s....sometimes adding an exhaust might HURT you..most systems claim maybe 1-5% an increase in power. I don't think anyone here has before/after dynos with just the addition of an exhaust so we have no quantifiable data.

Even if you got a 3% gain as an average....thats what around 9 hp freed up.....not enough to make much of a difference in performance.
