So I just dropped off our '06 GS300 AWD for the campaigns I was the first one they said to experience any problems. I had some pulling problems at very low speeds. So they said they'll get all three done today.
They gave me a ford focus for a loaner car! Because I didn't buy the car there they said I can't get one of their lexus ones. I feel like I'm driving a lego car..

Wednesday I called my dealer and was advised I need only the fuel rail replacement. I'll be taking it in Monday, as I want to deplete my fuel significantly - I understand from contributors to this forum that they fill the tank. Also, the car needs washing.

I drove it like I stole it but you can only have so much fun in a ford focus... The interesting part was today taking it back we're having a snow storm. Rental car in snow storm.... hmmm....
So I go the car back and they ended up replacing the LR caliper with the brake campaign and everything else went fine. EXCEPT they showed me my car had been in an accident and since I can't find the car fax thing I got from the dealer I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it.

I got my car back from the recalls and my alignment was so jacked up when you turn the wheel to the left and let go it turns crazily to the right and pulls hard... I don't understand why they would give me my car back like that... The steering feels even more stiff now which doesn't make sense.

When I got mine back the L wasn't quite level anymore. There was also a low level vibration upon acceleration, almost like something in the powertrain was binding and a creaking noise from under the front end when the car was rocked back and forth. I made an appointment to bring it back but it wouldn't be for a week. I couldn't stand the looking at my tilted L so I opted to not wait and take it to my tire guy. He did a 4 wheel alignment and found it to be off. The dealership admitted that they only did a front wheel alignment and should not have let the car go out the door with the L not level as it was when it came in their door. They did address the vibration/creaking as soon as I described it. They have seen this before due to the EPS replacement. Turns out a subunit has to be lowered to get the old EPS out and the new one in. When the subunit was resecured it wasn't exactly square. They re-squared it up and now the creaking and vibrations are totally gone.
