Default Vaistech and Prestigious Society

Hey guys,

I am ready to take the plunge and purchase the DVD bypass and Vaistech SL2Vi module for my iphone. I was speaking with Vaistech about the compatablity of the two modules. He had no answer as to if this would work together. I want to use my iphone video to watch movies while in motion. Can you guys chime in with these two combinations. Vaistech guy said I need SL2Vi package 3. Does anyone know exactly what the package 3 entails?

Thanks

they work perfectly. i know quite a few people with both modules and the override allow video playback when driving (which is blocked without the override kit)

i have both on my car as well, my vaistech is not video though, just audio. but the override allow me to have full control on all the lists when driving

Thanks SO much.. I appriciate your help... did you do your own installation or did you hire someone to do it? I plan on doing it myself as probably the hardest thing to do is dissassemble the center console and nav unit... The rest is plug and play..

Yup.. just have a friend hold the unit out while you plug the kit in. Plug and Play is the best kind of mod...

and for the mechanically challenged, it only takes 1 hr for a professional installer to install it.

I'm being a dork, as I've asked this question in several threads, but does the SL2Vi allow you to control your videos from the touchscreen or do you have to control them from the Ipod itself?

i remember reading somewhere you have to start the video on the ipod, but not 100%. just installed the unit on a car today, too bad there was no video ipod to test

yeah, if you get vaistech sl2i or sl2vi, it will play mp3 and/or video on the stock screen. and the override will allow you to override the nav and also allow video playback while driving
