Default Reset Tire Pressure Sensors?

Hey guys, this is my first post as I'm new to the Lexus club.

I have an '06 300GS and I was wondering what you do to reset the tire pressure sensors on these cars.

I took mine to the dealer and they re-set it. It took about 1 1/2 hours

That's just crazy to take that long.

On my vette all you do is go into the DIC for set up then use a magnet to activate the sensors on each wheel.

I hate the TPMS in our cars, actually, I hate TPMS in generally. You would think that it could at least tell us which tire it is. I guess they think that society isn't capable enough of checking the tire pressure on their own. I mean, we've had no problems for like the past 40 years....argh......

why would you need to reset it? If I recently had the TPMS sensors transferred to my new 20" wheels do I have to reset them?
