in terms of handling, good set of sways probably get you the most handling improvement

Takes the car from one level of handling to the next level but you should also be a good/decent driver to experience that level of handling in the first place!

does anybody else feel like they (lexus) could've came up with a different -gasp!- style of f-sport wheel to add onto the GS?

Typical - only item I have been begging for the GS460 intake - nothing! Do they know its easy and it will make the 460 sound better than the ISF??? Probably thats why they havent made it. I am going to make my own

Much of the pronounced intake sound of the IS F is from the dual stage intake box. At 3,600 RPM, a flap inside the intake box opens up the secondary chamber, which allows that nice deep sound to come out. I don't think your GS460 will ever sound as good as an IS F.

The GS460 is the slowest seller of the 3GS. If you look at it from a long term standpoint, there are not enough GS460's out there to justify making a specific F-Sport intake. They know it's easy but it's not cost effective. On the other hand, the GS350 shares the same 2GR-FSE 3.5L V6 in the IS350. The F Sport intake for the IS350 is very popular. The only difference btw the IS350's intake and the GS350's intake is the external shape and mounting of the lower airbox. The intake flex pipe and the charcoal filter are the same.
