Resetting oil change light
I know I can find this out by reading the book but what the heck
I just had my oil changed, and I reset the settings on the main screen but I still see Oil Maintenence needed when I start the car by the odometer. how can I make that warning go away too?

it has been asked and covered so many times I can recite it in my sleep.
1. Make sure you odometer shows total miles (not Trip A or Trip B).
2. DO NOT step on the brake....you do not want to start the car.
3. Press and hold the trip mileage reset button.
4. Press the start/stop button of the car two times, you want all the dash warning lights to light up.
5. Continute to hold in the reset button until the oil maint. req. light flashes and goes out. Wait for it as it takes a couple seconds.
6. Take you finger off the reset button.
7. Press the start/stop button again to turn everything off.
Now start the car like you would regularly and see if you were successful.
