Default mild drop

Hey guys,
I've been reading all kinds of threads about drops and I think I'm more confused than when I started.
Maybe someone can help me. I'm currently running 20 x 8.5 / 20 x 10 rims with 245/35/20 F & 275/30/20 R tires. I don't know the off-set.
They rub just a tad in the rear if I am going over a deep dip in the road.

I would really like to drop it about an inch. It's a daily driver so I can't do anything crazy with it. Just wondering if someone has some info that could get me pointed in the right direction.

thanks a lot for your help.

well you are rubbing mostly coz' your tires are overspec. that's what happened on my sc430, overspec tires and i lowered. i didn't do much, i just let it rub until there were holes inside the wheel wells, then no more problem

or if you want, use a heat gun and push up the part of the fender lining that's rubbing.

of course, i assume lining is where you rub, not the edge of the fender

it would help if we knew what your offset was. it should be stamped on the inside on the wheel somewhere i think. can you jack up your car or get it on a hoist for a few minutes?

did you want to know something pertaining to dropping the car with your rubbing situation or something pertaining to the fact you're rubbing with a mild drop?

The part about minor rubbing was just to give details on how I'm currently set up.
My main question is about advise on how to proceed to lower the car about an inch or so.

I'll see if I can't find what the off-set is.

And yes, I do realize my tires are out of spec. I couldn't imagine having any less rubber between my rims and terrible roads we have here in Houston.

thanks again.

So the NF210 are the way to go huh? I like rominl's idea of just wait and let the rubbing problem take care of itself.
Is their anything milder than the NF210's?

Anyone have any other options?

Tein H-Tech's are the mildest drops out there. I believe it's somewhere around .6-.8 inch drop. However, some people were disappointed after installing it because it barely dropped, so make sure you know how much you want to drop before you buy your springs.
