Idle speed question for 06 gs300 rwd

I have a couple of quick questions....I noticed that at the light when I was in drive, my idle speed is about 550, and when I roll up the windows, at the end of the roll up when the window hits resistance, idle speed seemed to drop a tiny bit, causing the car to be a bit rough for a split second.....is this normal? what is the normal idle speed in drive (no a/c)....also when I threw it in neutral it idles near 700, is this about right? I am thinking it might be time for a new battery since the voltage drops affected the idle???

On my '07 there is no change in idle speed no matter what electrical feature I use. In drive, my GS idles around 600rpm's. Your suggestion to replace the battery or at least have it tested is a good idea.

First time posting, long time viewer here. I've noticed the RPMs dropping/fluctuating a bit occasionally when I drive my wife's '06 GS300 rwd. The engine idle speed dips from time to time when coming to a stop w/o the use of other electrical accessories or HVAC. I just dropped it off at the dealer this morning to have them address the 3 recall issues. I'll let you know if they find anything wrong regarding the idle speed.
I don't know if it's related to the steering recall issue, but at highway speeds, the steering wheel has a tendency to not re-center itself coming out of a sweeping turn. I would have to manually nudge it back to the center position. The service advisor said that they will be changing out some the steering linkage components and it may fix the issue. I don't have any issues with the steering at low parking speeds though. Just curious if anyone else has the same problem.
