I gave up on Park Place at Grapevine. I made an appointment to take my car in for a fuel line recall and I asked them to reserve a loaner. When I got there they told me it would probably be a couple of hours before they could get me a loaner. They were not even nice about it.

I then took it to Ft Worth and the people at Sewell provided me with a 08 ES 350 and kept it overnight. Their service was just magnificent. Just like when I first purchased my first Lexus in '91!

I've always gotten my car serviced at Park Place Grapevine. Excellent service overall.

Default Sewell

I prefer Sewell over Park Place. I was in the market to buy a car and the people at Sewell were very friendly and more genuine. PP-Grapevine was better than PP-Plano. PP-Plano is very bad in my opinion.

I've never been to Sewell Lexus but I have no complaints about Park Place in Plano yet.

Park Place Plano has always given me great service. Sewell Lexus installed the Sirius radio module for me and that too was a good experience. I had a friend that bought his Mercedes from Sewell, but didn't have a good experience with the Mercedes service. That may have been an isolated incident though with that group.

I have taken my car to both(Park Place Grapevine and Sewell in Dallas).. Both are great dealerships, but everyone at Sewell seemed to smile or say Hi to you even if they were not helping you. At the end of the day I appreciated that..If you go to Park Place Grapevine, Butch is a great service advisor and if you go to Sewell, then Larry is the way to go.

looks like everybody has mix opinions...it just depends on who your service advisor is...i went to PP in Plano and got a service guy that argue with me...so i went to Grapevine and was treated nicely from Sean and Butch...both great guys !!!

SEWELL LEXUS, that is all you need to know!!!

They have the best service department in my opinion, just drop in and loaner is always there for you if needed (unlike ParkPlace, no appointment = no loaner)!!! If you have some issue with your toy, they will do their best to take care of you instead of brushing you off.

Many of my friends bought their toys at PP, b/c usually PP sells couple hundred cheaper than SEWELL. But they get it back at their service department.

Since they bought their toys there they assumed they can only get their service done there, but when they had their toys serviced... not a very pleasant experience, either their toys get dirty carpet or scratch on the paint... Therefore I would only recommend SEWELL for service!!!

I purchase my 07 GS 350 at Park Place Plano because:

1. Sewell - I went to look around on a Sunday and all of the new cars had been pin-striped...just like the cheap American cars of the 60's...yechhh! What the hell are they thinking of???

2. PP Plano was the only answer I got through the Internet and they offered me a $4,000 no-hassle discount, right off the bat. It turned out to be a very pleasant purchase experience with no damn pin stripes in any of their cars!

3. I have been so pleased with Sewell Ft Worth service, I don't see myself returning to
PP Grapevine any time soon.

This list is endless with issues from PP Grapevine. Forget service advisers, they are nothing more than paper processers. PP Grapevine damages cars, overfills oil and is dishonest.

Swell Fort Worth is much better and takes care of issues. I wish PP Grapevine service department was better as it is much shorter drive.

*Edit* I asked for updated information but I see this is an older car thread.
