Can I use a spare tire (donut) when lowered + aftermarket wheels?

technically you can, but you need to be careful of your rolling diameters. if your overall rolling diameters are about the same as stock, then using the donut isn't any different from stock wheels

but if say you have 20s with overspec tires, then you need to be careful. if you have a flat in the rear and you put on the donut, then there will be quite bit difference and the car will tilt quite a bit. this will put stress on the differential meaning heat.

if you just need to put on spare to get home and get the wheel fixed, i don't see problem over short distance. you aren't supposed to drive long on donut anyway

That makes sense. Good thing you can still drive on donut, for a bit at least. Thanks

Also, since your car is lowered and riding on a donut, you have a greater chance of scraping your front or rear bumper on the ground or driveway.

^^^ Thats what I was thinking.... And you cant really tow the car, since they raise the front or rear of the car

cars like ours, i wouldn't even expect it to be towed unless it's on flatbed

but then at my ride height, i can forget about it going on any flatbed anyway
