How do you deal with wife/GF messing up your GS?
Everyone,
So my girlfriend backed over a parking block with my not even 1yr old GS. Caused 2k in damage and requires a new bumper cover and paint job. The body shop is on their 4th try at painting the bumper. So far they have not even come close to matching the paint.
Needless to say the situation is a nightmare and I have found myself getting a little too upset with my g/f about her ineptness to drive the car properly given it has parking sensors and a camera to prevent stuff like this.
How does everyone cope with these situations? I really feel bad about getting mad at her about it but I just can't help it. My car is the one thing I spend a lot of time taking care of.
Thanks for allowing me to vent.

My wife scracthed up the lip on the right rear wheel. It cost me a total of $160 to refinish the wheel. I was hella mad!
Also, she went to the mall and some hater broke the windshield wipers.
There's nothing that you can do but get mad.

let it go, its not worth making a huge deal out of. It was a MISTAKE, understand that it was an accident.
maybe she kept backing up b/c she relied on the sensors too much. did she backed into a pole that the sensor didn't detect. if she is a horrible driver u should have not let her drive the expensive car till she learns to drive better. btw im not a fan of high tech gizmos like gps, parking sensors, cruise, auto trans...it takes real skills to drive.

Give her a chance to work it off. Say, a good BJ is worth around $50 (with g/f discount). So, $2000 devided by $50 is 400, that's over a year worth.
Are you catching my drift?
