2006 gs300 awd - the right price?

yes, i have read that it's a bit of a biotch. the debate is whether to spend $350 or cut wires. i installed 5.1 in my 4runner with dvd, so i am used to that setup. i also have over 50 concerts on dvd, so i cannot change dvd's while driving since the play button is on the dvd setup menu screen, and you cannot access that without the override. if there was a play button on the unit, all would be well. lol. i'm thinking of doing a complete speaker and amp swap, keeping the nav unit, but i do not know if that will be possible with all of the ML wiring. i hear that it is very different from your normal connections. do you know of anyone who has done this? the ML is nice, but it needs that little bit extra...

well if your car is still under warranty, i wouldnt do the cut wire method. if something were to happen to your navi and they see that, they will charge you over 4k for a new one. the ps kit is a simple pnp kit.
as far as upgrading the ml system, im not sure. im pretty happy with mine.

good point. the dealer has not said whether it will void the warrenty or not. best to not chance it. the ML is nice, but dvd music is much softer than the regular cd or radio. don't know why. was the same on my kenwood deck. thanks for the input.
