Exclamation check vsc, engine light and * P2195 *

Driving home the other day, I was welcomed to the Check VSC and Check Engine light while at a stop light. I recall seeing a number of posts for check vsc, but has anyone actually coded their GS? I used a scan tool and it reported P2195. That comes up as "undefined" for Lexus vehicles, however other searches for e.g. Toyota reveal O2 sensor issues stuck in lean mode. Anyone else seen this before?

It appears Lexus has their work cut out for them. In addition to the Check VSC, Check Engine, P2195...I'll be getting the treatment: Fuel-pipe recall; power steering update; and rear brake caliper update this Friday. Are there any other service campaigns I should know about for the 2006 GS RWD?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I also have an 06 300...recently i noticed that when the car is on Idle, i tried redlining the car but it would stutter/hesitate to go beyond 5000rpms--it would pause at 5000rpms for about 2-3secs., then would go beyond 5000rpms....i have no CEL at this point but i have a deep feeling that this could be an 02 sensor related symptom (other things im considering is the MAF, or TPS- starting to fail)...pls. do this "test", and let me know(if u dont mind).
Thanks

I had this issue in my 2nd gen. GS, my car would misfire, then the VSC light and check engine came on. I used the OBDII tester and I forgot what code came up, but it showed up as cylinder misfire or something if I recall correctly, anyway I searched it up, and it happened to be my spark plugs. Took two hours out of my life and changed them myself and all was well. Not sure if this is the same issue for the 3GS, but it could be something to look into

That's another thing i was thinking about-Sparkplugs...I have the same symptoms you had WITHOUT the CEL...My 1st CEL issue was brought about by evap leaks(replaced gas cap, charoal canister refitting)...Wil it be possible that a misfire can occur (on idle) without trigerring a CEL???, dealer said that it should throw a code....I will bring it back to the dealer soon
