Default Help - I Want in the Club! 2008 GS350 AWD

Guys-
I know most of you are tired of the "how much should I pay" posts, and I can respect that. So what am I going to do? Ask anyway..........

My local Lexus dealership still has a brand new 2008 GS350 AWD on the lot. I have done all my homework, took a picture of all the options installed from the sticker in the window, and got on KBB to check pricing. Here are the numbers (from KBB):

MSRP: $51,320
Invoice: $45,461

Being that the car is one year old and most dealerships struggling, I was going to offer $44,000. I am starting to wonder if this is too much being that I am seeing some getting 2009's for around $45,000.

What do you guys think? Thanks to all of those that chime in.....

At the end of January I paid $41,600 for a 2008 AWD with Navi/ML with the sticker price of $52,160. In addition, it had an XM radio installed by the dealer. The car had 5000 miles on it. However, during that time the Lexus was paying $5k back to the dealers for 08 models. That deal expired on 02/02/09.

I got my 08 new, 200 miles on it for 38k - but RWD/navi/no ML. So 44k in my opinion is too much. Maybe if you wait they'll offer another 5k factory rebate...

Buy an 09 unless they give you another 5k off the price....that is about the difference in pricing when you go to sell it later too

The invoice price for a GS with MSRP of $51,320 is about $44000. A 2008 at this time should go for under invoice. I would offer them $1000 to $1500 below invoice.

Go elsewhere, I paid less than that in Jan '08 when I bought my 08 with Nav/ML. $43,500 to be exact.
